Carmen P. Belefonte was inducted as a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers in London several years ago. The American College of Trial Lawyers is one of the premier professional organizations in America. Its membership consists of the best lawyers of the trial bar in both the United States and Canada. Fellowship in this organization is attained by invitation only after careful scrutiny by trial lawyers who are most eminently qualified as advocates and whose careers have demonstrated only the highest standards of ethical conduct and professionalism. There are around 5,000 Fellows throughout the United States and Canada.

ASSOCIATION OF TRIAL LAWYERS OF AMERICA

Association of Trial Lawyers of America (ATLA) is a national organization of trial lawyers whose mission is to protect the rights of innocent and injured victims and preserve the right to trial by jury.

ATLA has been the voice of injured victims throughout the United States and is comprised of a Board of Governors representing each state. Carmen Belefonte has been a member of the Board of Governors for Pennsylvania since 1993 and has served on the organizations' Executive Committee.
